Hey gang!
After a long and mildly dreadful moving adventure, the Kevin is now in Baltimore city proper and BACK ONLINE! WOO!! Which means I'm catching up on projects and updating the comics section again. Also, I'm prepping for our last convention of the year, namely Anime USA this weekend in Crystal City, VA. After that's wrapped up, I'm hoping to get around the the long-awaited convention photo post I keep promising you guys. Soon! I swear! X_x
In other news, the fine folks at the Greenbelt Arts Center are presenting "The Cartoon Art of Kevin Bolk" exhibition now through Dec. 19th. They're displaying original comic art from the "I'm My Own Mascot" comic strips, as well as selling signed art prints and other goodies. They're also running "Little Shop of Horrors" for which I had the honor of doing the art design. That's running for another two weeks, so be sure to get down there and check it out. It's an AMAZING show and a lot of fun.
Well, I think that covers the big things. Enjoy the new comics and I'll talk to you guys again in a few weeks!
Until then...!

Well, I just got finished with both Small Press Expo and Baltimore Comic Con the weekend after. Sorry for the lack of con recap as it was a very busy week between the two shows. I will be attending the Big Apple Comic Con this weekend in New York City, so this week promises to be just as hectic. When I get back from that though, I'll do a big post-con wrap-up of all three shows (with pics and plugs. Hoo Ha!).
Putting a couple of new pieces in the gallery, and as always there's plenty of new stuff in the comics section. Enjoy and hopefully I'll see some of you guys in NY next weekend!

The fall convention season kicks off this weekend with Small Press Expo in Bethesda, Md. You can find me set up with Interrobang Studios at table W42.
And right across the way, at table H7 & H8 are the awesome folks at Comics Bakery who will premiering the third volume of Life Meter, a collection of video game-inspired comics and art. I actually have a couple comics appearing in it along side a lot of really rad-tastic artists. And if that wasn't enough reason to pick up a copy, all the proceeds from the sale of the book will go to Child's Play, a gaming community-based children's charity. Numbers at the show will be limited but you can order the second printing of book online. But who wants to wait, right? So get your copy while you can!
Guess that's it for now. Two weeks after SPX, I'll also be attending Baltimore Comic Con. More details as the develop. Until then...!
